The Cynon Valley Museum tells the story of the Cynon Valley from the distant past to the present day; it is the story of our community. As we continue through time we must continue collecting, so that we can continue telling this valley’s story.
Collecting 2020
Telling the story of 2020 is no different. Past struggles are remembered in our museums, memories recorded for posterity, in order that future generations know what challenges we faced and how as a community we overcame them and what we learned from that. Cynon Valley Museum is working with RCT Heritage Services to continue to collect and tell the story of 2020.
We want to know what you think should be collected to represent 2020 – what object or objects best represents 2020 to you? Do you have an object which tells the story of 2020 and / or do you know what object might be able to tell the story of our community? We want to hear from you!
