This year Cynon Valley Museum is happy to be hosting a panel event to celebrate and discuss Women’s History Month.
Our panel speakers include
- Karin Mear, local artist and Heritage and Community Officer at St Elvans Church
- Amanda Webber, co-founder of The Wool Stall, Aberdare
- Beth Winter, Labour MP for Cynon Valley
The discussion will focus on the importance of Women’s History Month to their lives/work, how gender can affect their work, importance of promoting women in their respective fields, and the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic on women’s work.
This event will take place at the Cynon Valley Museum, Thursday 24th March, 5pm – 6pm. Please make sure you book a ticket for this event. Tickets will be limited to allow for social distancing.
