Would you like to lead the Cynon Valley Museum through the next stage of its development? As Museum Manager you will head up our dedicated team, working alongside the community to grow the Trust’s vision of an excellent, sustainable Museum for the community.
The Cynon Valley Museum Trust is a registered charity (1161227) whose mission is: “to promote the education of the local community and beyond in relation to the local history, cultural heritage and the arts of the Cynon Valley”.
Working to the CVMT’s values of SUSTAINABILITY, ACCESSIBILITY, PROGRESSION, AMBITION, FLEXIBILITY & REPRESENTATION, you will be responsible for leading the delivery of the next business plan, creating and maintaining strategic relationships, and driving the growth of the organisation.
Job Title: Museum Manager
Reporting to: Board of Trustees
Salary: £27,500 – £32,500
Term: 8 months, full-time – an initial 8 month scoping period to establish strategic plan with renewal in line with those objectives. Please contact us to discuss this if you are unsure.
