We invite you to the launch of the Sunflower Lanyard Scheme at Cynon Valley Museum
Hidden disabilities can affect anyone, maybe yourself, someone in your family or someone you know and care about. The Cynon Valley Museum is working with Cynon Valley Pals to launch the Sunflower Lanyard Scheme at the museum and promote awareness of hidden disabilities and the Sunflower Lanyard scheme designed to make more people aware of those who made need additional support when out and about.
The event will start with an autism friendly hour from 4:30pm until 5:30pm and at 6.00pm we will come together to officially launch the scheme at the museum. We are delighted to invite you to come along to the launch. Green Valley Kitchen will be open during the evening for any refreshments you may need. We hope to spread awareness of this vitally important scheme which will help make places like the museum and businesses across the Cynon Valley more accessible. If you are a local business and would like to find out more about the scheme, come along to the museum on the 8th November to find out more about the scheme and how you can be involved. Help make the Cynon Valley Museum more accessible than ever before.
