With thanks to the AIM Museum Fundamentals funded by Pilgrim Trust and The Julia Rausing Trust, we recently provided our staff and volunteers with important collections care training on mould in museum collections.
We were joined by professional conservators from Connect Conserve Cymru for a day of theory training on the risks and impact of mould in museums. Conservators also gave a practical session on how to identify and decontaminate evidence of mould on collection items. A great day of building skills and confidence, thank you Association of Independent Museums!
