Important Graves in Penderyn Churchyard
By Siscelia Morgan
St. Cynog’s Church was constructed in the late 13th Century and rebuilt in 1895. It stands on a rocky rise to the northeast of the village of Penderyn with views over the nearby mountains. Its huge churchyard is estimated to hold 10,000 burials and contains many fine monuments.
This talk is aimed to give us a glimpse of some of the important ones.
