Snow on the Line – Musical Retelling of One Life over a Century of Change

📢 On the 13th of March, the Museum is hosting a new Music, Spoken Word and Visual Show Exploring One Life Through a Hundred Years of Change 📢

Snow Along the Line traces the life of an extraordinary yet ordinary woman whose journey spans nearly a century of change. Barbara Jones nee Naisbitt, was born in 1928, only months before the Equal Franchise Act granted women full voting rights, her story begins in the industrial heartland of North-East England and traces the experience of living through WW2, rebuilding after the war, her move to Aberdare in 1955, a career in tailoring and adult education, the decline of the mining industry to South Wales until her death in 2023.
