Please join us at the Cynon Valley Museum and learn about this fascinating Unitarian Chapel, and its links with the National Eisteddfod, Aberdare in 1861, as well as key people such as Dafydd Thomas Llewelyn (Llewelyn Alaw).
Art work created by pupils from Ysgol Gyfun Cymraeg Rhydywaun will also be on display and their art work will be judged by Donna Edwards, Welsh actress and Rev. Melda Grantham, Secretary Unitarians and a past pupil from the school.

A lecture on the life and times of the harpist, Thomas Dafydd Llewelyn( Llewelyn Alaw) , delivered in English by David Leslie Davies, M.A., of Aberdare, who has written on the history of Hen Dŷ Cwrdd and many of its prominent members.
