Cynon Valley Museum is a local history museum nestled in the north of the Cynon Valley, in the town of Aberdare.
The Museum is managed by the Cynon Valley Museum Trust (registered charity number 1161227).
The Museum is open:
Tuesday – Saturday, 9.30am – 4pm
Visiting the museum and its two temporary exhibition galleries is free
Learn about the fascinating stories of the Cynon Valley and the people who have lived here throughout history in our permanent displays. There are two gallery spaces, the Oriel Space and the Mezzanine Gallery, at the Museum where you can see ever-changing exhibitions about local artists, community groups and special local stories. You can also discover stories and art from local groups in our recently refurbished Community Cwtch.
